WOW! To think my next post will be about a TWO year old! Lets not think about that yet! :) We have the sweetest toddler ever. Yes he has his moments and has to throw a fit but he is growing up so fast! He is saying Mama and Dada constantly. If he needs something he calls us by name. The sweetest thing I have ever heard. He also says no and more. "Oh no" was the first real thing he ever said that we all knew what he was talking about. He listens to everything we say and he is understanding us. When we went for his check up at 16 months he was weighing around 24 pounds. We still LOVE bath time. He also likes to do things "himself" now. Here's the big news...at 17 months we FINALLY stopped nursing. FOR GOOD. 11/12/13 (I am a sucker for cool dates) was the very last night we nursed. That was such a long week but we made it and now we are sleeping 10-12 hours every night. We both shed many tears during the process and we do still miss the bond from it but when you sleep for the first time in that many months everything is just great. Everyone happier here now! T shakes his head yes or no to let us know what he wants or does not want. He can get his point across. He is jabbering constantly so I am sure it will be like walking. Once he's ready he will be speaking in sentences. We've been playing with potty training just to get used to it. We have a little baby urinal that he loves to use and he also has the ring on the potty that he is also using. He LOVES trains, firetrucks, bugs, chicken and corn and any fruit, watching movies, the zoo and the children's museum, and playing with Jax!
