Nursery Ideas

We are getting carpet installed this week and then it is time to get serious about the nursery! I am so excited!!! We already ordered the crib and that will be the first thing that goes up in the nursery. Here is the crib we got...
I wanted something modern and most of the white furniture looked too girly so we decided on this one! I love it and can't wait to get it put up!
As far as the bedding we haven't really picked yet but we have decided on colors. We are going to go with green, blue and orange. Here are some of the ideas we have seen and love...

I LOVE everything about all of those rooms. The bedding for all of those pictures are from polkatotdesigns.com they also have a facebook page. They do custom bedding and its so hard to make a decision! I love bright bold colors :)
I have a dresser that my grandpa fixed up for my nursery that we are going to paint green and then we have a long dresser that I am thinking about using for a changing table and extra drawer space. We will probably just paint it white since it is much bigger. I can't wait to get started on all of this!!!! :)

20 WEEKS!!

I can NOT believe this day has finally arrived! I made it half way through this pregnancy!!!!! I am 20 weeks today and so excited that we only have 20 more weeks to go if that many. I know in the past I have said I did not think I would EVER enjoy pregnancy but I am finally feeling so good and not having anymore issues and so I am actually enjoying it a little more now. :) Monday I went for the ultrasound to check all of Baby M's organs and body parts to make sure that everything was developing like they should be and everything looked great!! He is about 11 ounces now and has all of the parts he is supposed to have :) I can not believe that he is the size of a cantaloupe now, that is amazing. He is a growing boy!

Here are some of the ultrasound pictures from Monday :)

She showed us a few 3D pictures of him :) These weird me out a little for sure.

How far along: 20 weeks

Total weight gain: less than 5

Sleep:  I sleep pretty well unless I have insane dreams, those usually keep me from getting a good sleep!

Movement: I have still not felt him move yet :( If I have I didn't know what it was. The doctor says it might be a little longer for me to feel him because the placenta is anterior. Hopefully SOON!

Food cravings:  I have just recently gotten my appetite back so at this point I am really eating anything! I eat A LOT of cereal though.

What I miss:  I really don't miss too much. Every once in a while I think how it would be nice to have a drink or 2 :)

Symptoms:  Compared to the beginning of my pregnancy I have very few complaints at this point!! I guess the worst part right now would be a very sore tailbone!

Gender: Still a BOY :)

Belly button innie or outie?: Still an innie but I have a feeling it is going to be an outie soon L

19 Weeks!

Baby M is now the size of a mango! I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and I am feeling better each day!! I am hoping the first 20 weeks were just bad and the next 20 weeks I might actually have a NORMAL pregnancy! I am able to eat like I used to now and I am not having the issues like I was in the beginning. So things are starting to look up!! I started this blog while I was on bed rest and now that I am up and able to do things I have been slacking on updating! Baby M's bump has finally arrived and it makes me feel more pregnant! I guess it really is for real now! :)

There he is! :)

And again!
We went out of town for the weekend and daddy couldn't come so we sent him this picture! :)

It was an exciting weekend for us! We were celebrating lots of birthdays and then Doc and Nix got married! So glad Baby M got to be there for the festivities! :) We stayed at Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga.
Here are some pics from the weekend...

The whole group minus Evie... (How cute are those shirts??)

The first night was February 6 birthdays, Russell, Paloma, and I all share the same birthday, pretty crazy!

We all signed the shirts and everyone signed the bump :)

The next night we got a limo and went to dinner up the mountain (NOT a fun trip for the carsick girl)

This was the big surprise!

How sweet :)

Love these kids :)

How stinking cute is she?? :)

We had so much fun but I was glad to be back home in my bed Sunday :)

I go back to the doctor Monday for the fun ultrasound where they will check out all of the organs and stuff and make sure Baby M is growing like he should be! Last time we went he was already 7 ounces and the websites I have read said he should have been 3-5 ounces. Sounds like he is growing pretty good to me!! :) I will upload more ultrasound pics soon!

17 weeks

Here are just a few more ultrasound pictures from my 17 week visit. The only good part of a bad pregnancy is getting to see your sweet baby more often!! We have had so many ultrasounds! :) Every time I am having an issue and have to go back in for another ultrasound and check up, Baby M is always doing GREAT and looks just like he should be at that point!

Still showing us that he is a BOY haha :)

ITS A BOY!

At 16 weeks mom went with me to the doctor to find out if they thought it would be okay for me to go to Chattanooga for the weekend for Doctors 65th birthday. We went in first for the ultrasound and within the first minute of it the tech asks if we know what we are having! At 30 seconds into the ultrasound its pretty obvious!! I promised Ricky if they could tell this soon I would not find out without him so I asked her if she could tell could she put it in an envelope for us. Mom decided she wasn't waiting though and she wanted to see right then. This made it even worse! We had to go meet Ricky right afterwards so we could open the envelope together and find out what Baby M was!!

And this is what we saw ...

I was SO sad!! I knew all along it had to be a boy the way she knew IMMEDIATELY. I don't think a girl would have showed off her goods that quickly :) hahaha But Baby M had legs open and ready for Mom and Dad to know he was a BOY! When we got home of course I cried and needed my time to get used to the idea. I even cried again the next day when I saw a cute dress that I realized I was not going to be buying. I am absolutely over it now though and excited about our baby boy! Once I thought about it more, I only wanted a baby girl to dress up and decided that a TEENAGE girl would be a challenge for sure! I am so excited now and me and Ricky have already bought this sweet baby boy so many clothes it is crazy! We have to stop!! :)

Here are a few more pictures from the same day.

Does is not look like he is flipping us off in that 2nd picture???!! :)
